Robokid – Empowering Young Minds in Robotics and Coding
Robokid is an educational initiative dedicated to fostering a love for robotics, electronics, and computer science in young learners. Designed to inspire creativity and innovation, Robokid provides a dynamic learning environment where elementary students develop problem-solving skills through hands-on experiences. The Robokid League introduces students to the fundamentals of programming using LEGO Mindstorms EV3, encouraging teamwork, logical thinking, and a competitive spirit.
As part of the Lucky Media team, I contributed to the front-end development. I played a key role in building and optimizing the Robokid website, ensuring a seamless and engaging user experience. The platform was developed using Statamic as the CMS, with Alpine.js for dynamic interactivity and Tailwind CSS for a modern, responsive design. Additionally, I integrated Laravel for backend functionality, Splide.js for interactive carousels, and Livewire for real-time user interactions, creating a visually appealing and performance-optimized website.
Through this project, I contributed to making STEM education more accessible and engaging, helping Robokid empower the next generation of tech innovators.
